Following previous announcements, Homes England have set up a Panel of Approved Consultancies who will be available to deliver FRAEWs for those who will be applying for funding through the Homes England Cladding Safety Scheme. The scheme is aimed at properties above 11m which were excluded from the previous ACM and BSF scheme offered for taller buildings which had cladding safety issues.
Ark Sustainability Ltd have been accepted onto the Panel to deliver these FRAEWs and undertake investigations for applicants to the new scheme when it launches in the Summer of 2023.
Applicants will be obliged to have in place a recognised, PAS9980 based FRAEW before they apply to the scheme as well as ensure that their building is further assessed once remediation works have been completed (known as an “Exit Report”).
